DPDP 2023 Compliance
As a Data Processor for healthcare providers, we adhere strictly to the guidelines set by the DPDP Act. We ensure that:
- Data is processed only for the specific purposes authorized by the eye care provider.
- Eye care facilities maintain full control over patient consent.
- Robust technical and organizational measures are in place to prevent data breaches.
- Patients (Data Principals) can exercise their rights through the healthcare provider.
Data Security
All data is encrypted using 256-bit AES at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
Access Control
Role-based access ensures only authorized staff can see sensitive records.
Data Sovereignty
All patient data processed by MedOS for Indian hospitals is stored exclusively on servers located within the territory of India. We do not transfer sensitive personal data outside the country.
